The aim of DGOV is centered around four pillars to enable digital transformation in the UAE: infrastructure, services (enablers and initiatives), policies, and building capabilities. Infrastructure focuses on building a robust digital framework. Services involve leveraging advanced technologies to enhance the digital economy and support business. Policies include the development and implementation of standards and regulations for digital governance. Building capabilities is about promoting digital awareness and competence within government entities and the broader community, ensuring effective adaptation to digital advancements.
DGOV aims to elevate the UAE's position in relevant international indexes, striving to secure the number one spot globally in online services, and to establish the UAE as the best digital government by the nation's centennial in 2071.
